Universal Stone Cleaning Paste ~ Non-Toxic & Biodegradable

Original Post 8-14

Your child writes with Sharpie on the kitchen table.  Your husband puts metal scratches in your new enamel cast iron pot.  Metal scratches on your white porcelain dishes and kitchen sink drive you crazy.  Am I talking about you?

Oh wait, I'm talking about me.  But this could be you, too.  I don't like things to get "ruined" and having Universal Stone on hand has saved the day too many times to count in this house.

Not to mention, it's great for tough jobs that have gone undone for so long: scummy bathtubs, ovens with burnt food, grimy tile grout.

Universal Stone is truly "universal" and the only cleaner that I use all over my house besides toilet bowl cleaner.  We will talk about that another day.  ;)

Our readers are falling in love with this cleaner.

"I was very skeptical of this concept at first, but intrigued as I read more and more about it. After finding e-cloths I decided to try them since they were less expensive than Norwex. I am SO happy with my ecloths and plan to get more! I also ordered the stone and it is the only thing that has cleaned up years of build-up on the bottom of our marble shower. Can you say, 'In Love!?!?'"  ~ LouAnn

What is in the vegetable oil used in this? Dealing with a coconut and possible palm oil allergy. So thankful for my other ecloth and Norwex stuff. Don't have to worry about other cleaning stuff other than dish soap and laundry detergent. Really would like to be able to use this. Just saw my Norwex cleaning paste has coconut oil.

The cleaning paste from Norwex is actually sold as 200ml not grams. A full tub of cleaning paste, without the lid but still in the container weighs 320g.

Thanks, Launa. I still like getting the bigger tub. :)

Lacy, I am trying to find out the veg oil but haven't gotten word back yet. I hope I do! Will let you know...

I am wondering if the Universal Stone can be used to help repair/renew my almost 6 year old windshield in my truck. It has LOTS of pit marks from big trucks on the highway. Those little rocks flying off their tires and hitting my windshield has caused it to be difficult to see sometimes, especially if I am traveling facing the sun. Thank you for your help.
P.S. I already have some of your e-cloths and I really like them.

Dear Anonymous, I think I know what you are talking about! I noticed that my car headlights were really foggy looking...not nice clear glass like they used to be. And I DID try the Universal Stone on them. I did one headlight and not the other to compare. I did notice quite a difference but I did not get the glass completely clean (I had my husband's new car to compare to). However, it did make an improvement enough to do the other light, too. I hope that helps!

Universal Stone removes permanent marker. :) I made a little video I will have to post.

I have a question about the universal stone cleaner. We recently installed a cultured marble shower and were told to only use Scrubbing Bubbles on it to clean it. Since this cleaner has toxic chemicals in it, I would rather not use it. Can you tell me, is the universal stone cleaner safe to use on surfaces like cultured marble without scratching or otherwise causing damage?

Hi Bari Jo...that is a good question. I would think it would be ok. If I had some marble, I would test it for you! I will ask around and see if someone has had success with this...Thanks for the question!

Bari Jo, I emailed you with the answer to your question. It should be fine. :)
