Scrapbook Front Page & Memorabilia

Hello to my crafty friends.  Today we are going to talk scrapbooking because I actually worked on a book last weekend, and it was a blast!  I almost finished 2014.

This is how my front page turned out.  I decided to highlight the year with meaningful memorabilia.

The memorabilia that I included on the front page is:  baby shower invite, train ticket from a wedding, show ticket from vacation, a Stampin' Up! tag from my last SU demo order, a political ticket for my campaign work, and the key tag to Jeff's new car.  These were all significant events in our year for which pictures can be seen later in the book.

Other memorabilia that I keep and put in pouches for the book are birthday cards and other cards, vacation brochures, wedding invitations and programs, etc. These are big and bulky and a pouch suits them well.  The things that made my front page were easy to put into a Project Life pocket.

I like how it turned out.  I know it's not the cutest page or theme, but it means something to me and that's what counts.  ;)

How about you?  What do you include on front pages?  And what do you do with memorabilia?  We would love to hear!
