7 Days of Dairy-Free, Natural Snacks for Kids ~ Fruit {Day 2}

This may be no-brainer to some...but one way to cut processed sugar is to eat fruit!  I tell my kiddos it's "God Candy".  All na-tu-ral.  Sugar God gave us.  Right from the tree, vine...or whatever.

The kids may expect cookies for snacks.  But once I point out how sweet fruit really is, it usually satisfies.

And one thing I've learned about fruit is to buy what's in season.  Not only will it taste the sweetest and best, but it's also usually the cheapest!

Right now in mid-July, we are obsessed with cantaloupe and watermelon.  Mmmmmmm!

Mix it up, try an assorted fruit plate, try fruit kabobs, try a fruit salad.

As long as there is fruit, we can survive any 7-Day Natural Sugar Week.  :)

What is your favorite fruit?
